The Louis Vuitton Resort 2010 collection is filled with sexy throwback pieces.
The entire concept of Resort fashion is somewhat antiquated. The term was coined in the days when the wealthy would hop aboard their yachts for the winter while the working stiffs froze it out on the job. Hmmm…the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Although we aren’t privileged enough to spend our winters in the islands, we still enjoy the retro qualities of Louis Vuitton’s 2010 Resort collection. Our favorite piece in the collection is the mini sailor-dress seen above. The high-waisted belt and oversized drawstrings prevent the need to over-accessorize, other than a pair of black shades.
